The Umstead
Coalition The Umstead Coalition is dedicated to
the appreciation, use, and
preservation of William B. Umstead State Park and the Richland Creek
natural
area.
ENO River Association
Organized in 1965, and incorporated in 1975 as a
tax-exempt, non-profit Corporation to assist federal, state and local
agencies to establish public parks along the Eno River Valley, to
promote the preservation of the Eno through
educational and scientific means, and to cooperate with other local,
state
and national conservation groups to preserve the environment.

the support and maintenance of programs and the development of
facilities of Jockey's Ridge State Park

ENVIRONMENTAL
EDUCATION LEARNING EXPERIENCES (EELEs) North
Carolina Division of Parks and Recreation's activity packets
for each park and recreation area. Each state park and recreation area
has
an EELE curriculum guide that includes on-site activities, pre- and
post-visit
activities, student information pages, worksheets, fact sheets,
vocabulary,
and references. You can receive a free copy of an EELE by attending a
workshop
at the park, or you can borrow these guides through interlibrary loan
at
any public library in North Carolina
NPCA
The National Parks and Conservation Association is
